Originally from Milan, Italy, I’ve spent the past thirteen years living abroad—seven in Berlin and six across France, Portugal, and Brazil. Languages have always been at the heart of my life. Growing up in an Italo-German household and navigating multilingual, international environments taught me early how meaning shifts between words and cultures.
Over the past five years, I’ve managed and facilitated international cultural projects, learning how to balance time, quality, and a culturally-aware communication with collaborators and audiences across multiple countries. I’ve crafted and translated grant applications, reports, websites, communications, information materials, pedagogical content and administrative documents, adapting message and tone for diverse audiences—from donors and project partners to participants and the general public. At conferences, roundtables, exchange programs, and cultural events, I’ve also regularly interpreted into my native languages, German and/or Italian.
With a strong background in the Social Sciences and Humanities (M.A. Cultural Mediation of the Arts; B.A. Social and Cultural Anthropology), I draw on both my studies and my experience in the non-profit sector to handle complex content thoughtfully and with care.
When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy digging through vinyls, training house dance or handstands, or attending performances. I’m continually inspired by how language and art connect us—one through words, the other beyond them.
